Tea parties are the ideal theme for a girls’ night, wedding shower, baby shower, or a cozy baby sprinkle. Recently, I had the joy of celebrating one of my dearest friends as she prepares to welcome her second baby—a sweet little boy we’ve all been eagerly anticipating!

When it comes to planning a tea party, we love to embrace any excuse to celebrate. For this special occasion, we divided the food responsibilities among friends. My friend created some delightful homemade treats, while I opted for a few convenient store-bought options. The key to a successful tea party is to have a mix of savory and sweet bite-sized treats
For Food:

- Cucumber Sandwiches
- Pizza Bagels (not my proudest moment, as I searched for mini frozen quiches instead, but these were a hit!)
- scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam
- mini cinnamon rolls
- mini cheesecake bites
- cinnamon apple blondies
- lemon meringue pie bites
For The Tea:
I ordered a couple sample packs off amazon that worked out great.
- Fruit Tea Sample Pack
- Herbal Tea Sample Pack
- Vanilla Fireside Spice is my all time favorite tea. I can’t find it in the store anymore so I do order in bulk online. If you come across it at your local store, I highly recommend grabbing some!
- I didn’t have any Earl Grey or a Roobois tea & wish I would have. Next time!
- We also did mimosas with pink drink glasses. Each glass had names tied on them and were used as place settings. Here are some similar glasses.
- Here is a link to a similar gold bowl that we had the champagne on ice sitting in.

Beautiful Decor Ideas:
- I utilized some of the last blooms from my garden and placed them in amber bud vases.
- I bought this lovely cake stand & had some other ones from previous events. Here are some options I also liked and would have bought if needed.
- While I considered linking tea cup sets, I truly believe the best finds are at local thrift stores. The mixed-and-matched look adds a unique touch, and you can often find these at a fraction of the cost on Facebook Marketplace or at thrift shops.
Dress to Impress:

Lastly, this was a fun event to get “dressed” up for. I mean how often are you have an afternoon tea with your friends? I bought this dress off of amazon and it was perfect.
To make it baby shower themed we also added a game, spent time praying over our friend & all brought some diapers to the party.
I hope this inspires you to host a delightful tea party with your friends! Embrace the opportunity to celebrate the special moments in life over tea and treats.
With Love, Chloe
